1999 Raked 1200 Sportster

I came across your sportster page and enjoyed the pics. Nice to see your interest in sportsters. Mine is a 1999 1200 custom with Screamin Eagle exhaust. When I bought the bike in 2004 it was a stocker with a black paint. Since going totally crazy the bike is now just a little different. I went to the buckhorn bars and chromed out all the controls, grips and replaced the mirrors with the HD gold eagle. All the cables were replaced with braided. The front end is now a wide glide from Seeger cycle with 41 degree rake and 8 inches over. I relocated the front turn/marker lights and rewired the rear three to where they all light when braking and changed the lenses to bluedot, also put a 68 led crimson red light kit on it. (I prefer to be seen and heard) The front spoke wheel was replaced with a custom renegade three spoke. I changed out the two up seat to solo and added the taller sissy bar with insert. The passenger pegs have been removed, cappeed and chromed. The horn cover has been changed from the standard bell to flames and it also is lighted. I went with the kuryakyn hyper charger for the air cleaner. Both the point and derby covers have been changed to HD gold eagle. The forward controls have Kuryakin stilletto foot and heel pegs as well with the front axle covers. Absolutly everything is chrome. Finnally the paint is Burgandy chost flames on black by Taylor’s House of Color.
Hope you enjoy the pics.

1976 Iron Head Sportster Chopper

Oh, not sure where to start, well lets starts with its not so much near a stock ironhead sportster anymore, the motor is a 1976 1000cc, as you can see from the pictures the parts hand made are, oil tank, forward controls, battery box, frame, seatpan/and foam work, chain guard, the rear fender in a west coast that I cut in three places to tighten the radius to snug the tire more, gas tank is a puchase part no mods done to that, a lot of work was put into this bike, its for sure a one of a kind..

2003 Harley Davidson Sportster Custom 1200 Conversion

My name is Phil Cottingham and I’m a firefighter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. I hope you’ll like the pictures of my 2003 Sportster. Originally an 883, it was punched out to a 1200, complete with the new heads and Andrews cams. Other add ons and work include- powder coated rims and primary covers, 6″ drag bars, 2″ drag pipes, forward controls, Emgo fairing with 7″ headlight from an Ultra Classic, lowered back end with 150 tire stuffed in, Hypercleaner airfilter, and a few chrome pieces. While I’m still in the break in period, I can assure you I can keep up with most of the stock big bores out there. Cheers and thanks!

2001 Sportster 1200 Custom With Flames

Just found your site and LOVE all the great pics. Some of them just make my heart skip a beatI

I thought you might be interested in seeing my improved Sportster as well. It’s a 2001 HD 1200 Custom I bought in 2005. I later got married and for my Christmas and birthday gifts, my husband completely customized my bike during the winter. He had a vision building the bike around me and my personality. I’m 5′3″ so he slammed it to the ground as well. The final product is quite a beauty! I will attach a before and after picture for reference.

Regards,
Mars
