Sportzilla

Hi Spanish Sporty minded people.

In 1978 I began riding m’cycles, first a Kawa z400, then a Honda cx500. In 1982 I saw the light and started riding a Triumph Bonneville T140E, wich I customed a lot; high compression pistons, red frame, K&N, Lester alloy wheels etc. etc.

But there was always trouble with making distances.

In ’91 I decided to buy a Sportster 5 speed; for me the only “real” English bike!!

In 883 forms it was hopeless in power. And after putting a Dynojet kit in it it started to be fun to ride. It was faster, therefore the tires needed to be up to the job: Metzeler.

And so it went on:

Progressive front suspension, Technoflex 38cm rear, Wiseco 1200 kit, SE ignition coupled with Accel.

In this winter (05-06) a JMC is bought and mounted from a guy called Jordi from Barcelona (who owns a beautiful Sporty)! And after an oil pressure failure it’s being totally rebuilt!!

Everybody knows Godzilla and the name Sportzilla refers to it; but only with the questions:

”is it a sheep wich looks like a wolf, or is it a wolf in sheep clothes?”

Its name had to wear “Sport” in it, because a Sportster has to be Sporty!!!!! No Fatster, or something like that; it’s the best Harley; light, reasonable fast, small and a beauty!

If you want to read more about Sportzilla and the way I think, please visit her at: www.charlesb52.tk , when you want I can send an English translation! Also for info about the Netherlands you can mail me.

Sportzilla and me (and my wife Monique, first with her BMW K75S, this year with her Performance Ducati Monster) love Spain and the Spanish people. 5 Times we visited the Pirineos (6x Spain), 2005 was the last time. We also did Teruel, Zaragoza, Picos de Europa, Barcelona, Figueres etc. We like to walk, ride, eat and drink ( Anis del Mono is my favorite!!); also enjoying life in Spain.

In 2006 we’re planning to go to Ireland and in 2007 the Pirineos & perhaps Extremadura are planned!

Hope to see many Spanish Sporties and their owners in the next years. Look for the egg-yellow Sporzillawheels!!

Also thanks for the question to write for a Spanish Sportysite, I’m very proud of that.

If you want any info about the Netherlands/Maastricht just mail me.
